DIRTY HARRY WAS RIGHT

I suppose some people would call me opinionated but that’s their opinion. I have to say I generally don’t find opinionated people particularly attractive especially the pushy, pseudo-intellectual kind. Have a look at Jonathan Miller alongside Enoch Powell on the Dick Cavett show. Both of them for that matter but Miller Is a stand-out.
For what it’s worth, and not a lot I’m sure, I think that if you should have an opinion, which of course you should and will, it should be your private property. My personal view is that you would do best by just keeping it to yourself (which is my personal recommendation for those with the necessary strength of character) or otherwise just let it out for a short walk and on a lead. Whatever you do do not either hope or expect that anyone else is going to agree with it or for that matter fail to be offended by it.
So here (character weakness admitted) is one of my opinions out for a short walk and do please feel free to disagree or be offended as you will. I’m finding it increasingly irritating to watch the world being ‘governed’ (exploited would be a better word) by lunatics and arseholes who either believe in fairies or use that belief in others to get whatever it is they want.
Harry was indeed right with his succinct assessment of opinions in Dead Pool and I am of course just one more opinionated ‘arsoul’ to add to the list. I’ll just leave you with some very wise words (in my opinion) though which Guy Martin recalls his Latvian dad espousing: “When ya dead ya dead”!
