MEET OUR LEADER

Allow me to introduce Steve Brown, author, bon viveur, raconteur, boomer and revered leader of our tribe. I understand that some of those words and phrases may be unfamiliar to upcoming generations but any dictionary published before 2000 will certainly answer any questions. Voted the man least likely to gain a role in any contemporary TV marketing campaign or a position as our special correspondent for pretty much anything our leader lives in proud defiance of the modern madness that now envelops us. Whereas the renowned philosopher Albert Camus gave us absurdism and existentialism Steve gives us the English versions of Woolacombism and Ilfracombism. Much simpler to understand and, it must be said, significantly less pretentiously French.
Born in 1949 our leader comes from a time when things made sense and now that those years have sadly passed we of the chosen generation look to him for example and guidance on how to survive and live out those remaining ones left to us. He stands as a staunch reminder that we of similar age have been privileged to have lived in what has almost certainly been the best and most amazing window of time that ever was. Even now as that golden age has become a distant memory we should therefore take comfort in the fact that most of us can still afford alcohol. There is also the added bonus that we get to see death as something altogether more palatable. Perfect timing! Until then, whatever it is, we live by Steve’s mantra - ‘Just enjoy it’!
Cheers and be cordially invited to immerse yourself in the writings of this great man at www.stevebrownauthor.com
